IDrive e2
TRIALPAY
- Free storage / trial
- No permanent free tier. The pricing page offers "Try with 10GB Free" as a trial allowance (1 TB for Veeam/MSP), not an ongoing free quota.
- Separate limits
- Paid pay-as-you-go is $0.006/GB/month ($6/TB) with a 1 TB minimum charge regardless of how little you actually store. Downloads are free up to 3x your stored volume, then $0.01/GB.
- Billing trigger
- Trial first, then paid. The minimum charge starts as soon as the trial allowance does not cover you.
- Best fit
- Low-cost S3-compatible backup targets once you are storing enough to justify the 1 TB floor.
Cost hygiene:The 1 TB minimum is the thing to plan around: storing 50 GB costs the same as storing 1 TB. Do not read the 10 GB trial as a free tier.
